Are you a relationship-focused fundraiser who loves bringing people, communities and businesses together for a great cause? Cancer Support Yorkshire is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Fundraising Lead to help grow our community, events and corporate fundraising income.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, independent charity providing practical and emotional support to people affected by cancer across Bradford and District and Skipton and Craven. You will lead a varied fundraising portfolio, build strong local partnerships, support inspiring community fundraising, and develop events and corporate opportunities that make a real difference.

Hours: 3 days per week (22.5 hours)

Salary: £30k and £34k FTE (Actual £18,243 to £20,675)

Responsible to: CEO

Location: Hybrid / charity base as agreed

Contract: Permanent

About Cancer Support Yorkshire

Cancer Support Yorkshire is a small, independent charity providing practical and emotional support to people affected by cancer. Since 1988, the charity has supported patients and families to live well with, and beyond, a cancer diagnosis. Our services include counselling, wellbeing support and welfare rights advice, and we work from centres in Bradford, and Skipton.

We depend on the continued support of our communities, donors, fundraisers and business partners to sustain and grow our services. This role is an important part of helping us raise the income we need to continue providing vital support, free of charge, to local people affected by cancer.

About the role

The Fundraising Lead will take the lead on community, events and corporate fundraising, developing income opportunities and strong supporter relationships across Yorkshire. The role includes supporter-led fundraising, charity-led events, donor stewardship, corporate partnerships and the development of new ideas that inspire people to get involved.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and practical delivery. You will be comfortable managing your own workload, spotting opportunities, and representing Cancer Support Yorkshire with warmth, confidence and professionalism.
