Your company is successful because you care about what you do and here at Cancer Support Yorkshire, we are the same.
Current research shows that one in two people will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. A diagnosis not only affects the patient but their families too. We are here to help them all with the financial, physical, and emotional impact cancer can cause.
Our services are free to access and the donations we receive, along with the support of our events, help to make this possible.
Supporting us to help others would be a rewarding partnership and we would welcome the opportunity to arrange a visit to discuss this in more detail. It is also a way to enhance staff morale knowing they are making a difference to people on their local community.

Charity of the year

In choosing Cancer Support Yorkshire as Charity of the Year, you are investing in our organisation and helping us to secure our future. It would also show customers/clients your commitment to people affected by cancer as well as meeting your organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility objectives. This in turn can motivate staff encouraging team building through fundraising activities and having fun!
Donations

All donations help us to continue to deliver our services, free of charge. Should you with to make a financial donation please use the donate button on our website home page or contact us for our bank details.

Gifts in kind are also important and help us to raise funds from them. Items are used as prizes for charity raffles, and where relevant, for our Preloved Charity Shop.
Hold an event

Why not hold a corporate event in aid of Cancer Support Yorkshire? There are lots of ways that you can encourage your staff to get involved in fundraising, for example:
- Host a Corporate event in aid of Cancer Support Yorkshire.
- Involving your employees in charity fundraising can be rewarding for them and for you.
- Ways for them to help could involve coffee mornings, bake sales, challenges, competitions, sponsored walks, swims etc. Our fundraising team would be happy to discuss these with you.
- Match funding the amount raised is another way to help your company achieve its Corporate Social Responsibility targets.
