This is a unique and exciting opportunity to become part of our Next Steps Service at Cancer Support Yorkshire. In collaboration with Macmillan and West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance as part of the ‘Living With and Beyond Cancer’ programme pilot. The ongoing pilot’s aim is building on a new model of improving access to personalised health and wellbeing for people affected by cancer District wide. Your will work in collaboration with Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTHFT) and Airedale General Hospital (ANHSFT) carrying out Holistic Needs Assessments in a community setting. This is a fixed term post.

Your listening skills and compassionate nature will be utilised when supporting clients and undertaking one-to-one assessments to establish their needs. You will support client’s mental and physical wellbeing through signposting to appropriate services and undertaking individual and group activities.

The post holder will be based at Cancer Support Yorkshire, Daisy House Farm, 44 Smith Lane, Bradford BD9 6DA.

Appointments are subject to Cancer Support Yorkshire receiving an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service that we consider acceptable.
