We're looking for volunteers to become ‘Friends of Cancer Support Yorkshire.’

This is an interesting, flexible and varied role which will enable you to develop positive and rewarding networks with local community members and increase your personal development.

Typical tasks can include:

  • Planning, organising and promoting awareness raising and potentially fundraising events.
  • Collecting funds on behalf of the charity and looking after the collection tins.
  • Attending group meetings.
  • Acting as an ambassador through building community networks.

If you are passionate about helping local people affected by cancer, have good communication and organisational skills, can work as part of a team and are honest and reliable this role would be perfect for you.
