Our board of trustees support the development of the charity whilst ensuring that we keep within our charitable objectives. We're interested in hearing from people in one of our areas of operations: Bradford and Skipton.
Applicants must be able to regularly attend the meetings, contribute constructively at the meetings based on their experience and promote the charity within the local community. The right person could make a real difference by contributing to and facilitating important decisions and by promoting the board and the charity in the local community and by communicating well with the staff, volunteers and clients.
The board meet every 6–8 weeks for a couple of hours with lunch provided with occasional off site meetings maybe once or twice a year to discuss strategy and risk. Trustees will also be invited to appropriate events too e.g. yearly volunteer events.
