The carols by candlelight event at Skipton Baptist Church was a huge success again, the event is in its third year and going from strength to strength, it was lovely to see the church full.
People were greeted at the church door by HART animals Donkeys and Sheep, Carleton ladies choir provided the music and Lisa from the church gave a lovely service.
This year people were able to buy a Christmas decorations in memory of a loved one and place a message on our memory tree at the church. Debi and Helen from CSY Skipton placed a message for all the centre users they have lost this year.
Afterwards refreshments, crafts, calendars, raffle, the sale of the decorations and games along with collection boxes generated a massive £707.00 for the charity.
