#BBCWeAreBradford

The BBC are in Bradford this week for their we are Bradford project to tell some of Bradford’s populations stories.

Bradford is a global city, home to a population of more than 500,000 people and 150 different languages and Cancer Support Yorkshire are proud to be based in the city and able to support the whole community.

We met with the BBC in the hope that we will be featured in their documentary and be able to spread the word about the work we do.

The picture features Angela one of the charities fundraisers and Kate Seymour one of the centre users who wanted to share her story about how Cancer Support Yorkshire has helped her through some of her most difficult times by offering her emotional support and well being therapies.

Watch this space, we are crossing our fingers and toes we will be featured.
