Sacred Heart Catholic School Ilkley-Raise money for CSY

Sacred Heart Catholic School in Ilkley said good bye to their Headteacher Mrs Alix Lubomski this term and raised over £130 for Cancer Support Yorkshire.

Mrs Lubomski is moving to a new school St Stephens Catholic Primary School in Skipton and instead of receiving leaving gifts asked the staff and pupils to raise money for local charity.

Alix is overwhelmed at the generosity from the school.

She chose Cancer Support Yorkshire as she knows that the money will help local people get the support they need when they are faced with a cancer diagnosis.

Thank you to everyone at Sacred Heart Catholic School the money raised will help our centres to deliver emotional support and wellbeing therapies.
