It was lovely to meet with Diane and some of the members of Steetons Knit and Natter Group, they have been holding fundraisers for Cancer Support Yorkshire and selling knitted toys at the chemist in Steeton.
Coffee mornings, a Jumble sale and Knitted toy sales totalled £507.41.
The group love to raise money for charity and we greatly appreciate their support for Cancer Support Yorkshire.
Knit and Natter meet and use the hub in Steeton for events which is popular with the local community.
We must also say a special Thank you to Martin from Steeton Pharmacy for selling the knitted toys on behalf of the group as all proceeds are donated to our charity.
£507.41 is a fantastic amount of money for a small independent charity and helps us make a difference to our community affected by cancer.
Our services are free but this is only possible because of generous donations and kind support-Thank you
