4 teams of eleven have formed and have been going out of their comfort zone to learn to play cricket competitively. For many it’s their very first time playing cricket while others have played socially, but never competitively.
The Teams are: Team England, Team India (supporting Cancer Support Yorkshire), Team Bradford and Team Pakistan. They will play against each other on Sunday 18th August to a live audience 8am – 6pm.
The winning team on the day will not only win the IWCC trophy but also a pot of money for their chosen charity.
The chosen charities are: Cancer Support Yorkshire, Bradford Women’s Aid, Mind (Bradford) and Yorkshire Children’s Trust.
The public are invited to support the cause and come and watch the tournament, which will be held at the famous Park Avenue Cricket grounds in Bradford on Sunday 18th August.
