An opportunity for the team to participate in this year’s Bradford Dragon Boat Festival was offered by Irwin Mitchell Solicitors who sponsored a boat. The offer was accepted, and the boat was manned by staff from the lung team and members of the support group.
It was decided that money raised from the event would be shared between the Bradford Hospitals Charity and Cancer Support Yorkshire.
The event took place on Sunday 2nd July in Robert’s Park, Saltaire and was enjoyed by everyone who participated and the families and friends who came to support them.
They competed in 3 races and their best overall time was a very impressive 1.14.19
