‘In the Pink’ Event Success!

Jean Park-Goldthorp, from Silsden held the ‘In the Pink’ event at her home on earlier this month.

She invited family and friends to wear something pink and join her for a cuppa, cake, games, etc. to raise funds for Cancer Support Yorkshire.

Jean said “there was a steady flow of supporters throughout the day.  They were all so generous, even those who couldn’t join us donated toward the grand total of £1,525.75

Linda Enderby, Fundraiser said: “We are extremely grateful to Jean and her supporters for this wonderful donation. The money will help to provide our free practical and emotional support services for local people affected by a cancer diagnosis.
