Current research shows that one in two people will be affected by cancer in their lifetime, so the chances are that you will know someone who has been affected. If that person happens to be a member of your staff team the emotional impact that this might have on your organisation could be huge.

Our services are free to access and are available to anyone who has been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly making our support vital to those who need us.

By supporting Cancer Support Yorkshire, you're helping people affected by cancer. At the same time, it can improve your staff morale and sense of purpose as they proudly work for a company that cares.

Charity of the year

In choosing Cancer Support Yorkshire as Charity of the Year you are investing in our organisation and helping us to secure our future. It can also help demonstrate to customers and clients that you're helping local people affected by cancer, help meet your organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility objectives and motivate staff, encouraging team-building through fundraising activities and having fun! Company Donations

Your donations are always appreciated and you can make a financial donation through this website. Also, if you have spare stock or items that we can use, Gifts in Kind are always welcome for raffles and, where relevant, for our Preloved Charity Shop. We are also lucky enough to have clothing banks at key locations in the area, but maybe your organisation has space to place a clothing bank on site. Through staff recycling you can help raise valuable funds with minimal effort. Everything counts!
Hold an event

Why not hold a corporate event in aid of Cancer Support Yorkshire? There are lots of ways that you can encourage your staff to get involved in fundraising. You could host a Big Brew event, a dress down day, or hold an internal competition - have a staff bake off, or a Cancer Support Yorkshire Daisy Bear.
Match Funding

Your employees are amazing! As well as working for you they get stuck in with events, challenges and fundraising - and by match funding the amount they raise you can help your company achieve its Corporate Social Responsibility targets.
