Charity Dragon Boat Race – A Fun Day for all!
Join team CSY at this years annual race on Sunday 21st July 2024. A family friendly event which is sure to be a fun day for all racers, and spectators.

For the past 36 years your local, independent charity, Cancer Support Yorkshire has been here to help patients and their families, with the practical and emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis. Our services are free of charge. The kind donations we receive and the support of our fundraising events such as the Dragon Boat Race help to make this possible.
We need you, your family, and friends to make up a team for our Charity Dragon Boat.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
The boat requires a team of 16 rowers and 1 drummer.
All teams compete in three races. The fastest overall go into the final race in a bid to be crowned ‘Race Day Champions’.
Each team member is asked to commit to raising £70 each via a JustGiving fundraising page. The money raised will cover the cost of the boat and give the charity £590 to help provide our FREE support services.
No experience necessary
hints and tips, and health & safety training given on the day.
