James Murray has been a valued member of CSY’s volunteer team for over 4 years. He Is based at the Bradford centre, and helps us in front of house – welcoming people to the centre and helping with any questions or information requests. James also regularly holds awareness stands in the BRI hospital to distribute information and awareness to the general public. He has contributed so much to the charity, purely with his joyful demeanor and giving spirit. Last year he grew a beard, and decided that instead of just shaving it off, he would grow it and use the opportunity to raise some funds for CSY. So, he made it a sponsored event, and raised an astounding £300.00.
In celebration of this, and Volunteers week, we express our appreciation to James for the valuable contributions he makes to Cancer Support Yorkshire.
Our service would not be possible without the help of our wonderful volunteers. We wish to sincerely thank you all very much.
