Our Organisation has held the Quality Mark at Casework level since 2002.
The Audit is carried out in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Advice Quality Standard and Recognising Excellence.
The Auditor scrutinises the quality of the advice our Welfare Rights Team give and also looks at the policies/procedures and running of the Organisation in general, including business and financial strategies. Our Auditor identified several areas of Good Practice and was impressed by our ‘effective promotion of services through a range of medium including web sites, posters, leaflets and Support Planner’.
The Audit also gives us the opportunity to reflect on the internal processes we have in place and also, with the Auditors excellent knowledge, share best practice.
Although the Audit takes place every two years, we are constantly reviewing our ways of working to keep pace with changes to the benefits system at both local and government level and to ensure we continue to provide a high quality service to all our clients.
